3/4cupfrozen sliced bananafrom about 1 medium banana, sliced then frozen
3/4cupplain unsweetened almond milk
4 1/2tablespoonssliced almondsor 1/4 cup + 1/2 tablespoon, for blending
1 1/2tablespoonschia seeds
1/4teaspoon+ 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/8teaspoonfinely grated lemon zestfrom about 1/2 small lemon
1/8teaspoonvanilla extractgenerous
For Assembly & Topping
3/8cupfresh blueberries1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons
3tablespoonssliced almonds
1 1/2tablespoonsunsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
In a high-speed blender, add raspberries, banana, almond milk, the 4 1/2 tbsp almonds (for blending), chia, cinnamon, lemon zest, and vanilla.
Blend from low to high for 1–2 minutes until very smooth and thick, using the tamper if needed. If too thick, blend in 1–2 tablespoons almond milk; if too thin, add a few frozen berries or 1 teaspoon chia and blend briefly.
Pour into a bowl.
Top with blueberries, remaining sliced almonds, and coconut flakes. Serve immediately.
